Christmas Time is Near

I am so excited that it is almost Christmas Time!!  We decorated tonight and it just makes me happy! :)

Thanks to my Aunt Linda for a new craft idea.  This past weekend I made a tomato cage Christmas Tree.  It was an inexpensive way to create a tree for my front porch.  All in all the project cost about $10.  I thought I would share how to make this tree for others interested.

Supplies:
1 Tomato Cage
18-20 feet of Branch Garland (Lighted or Plain)
Lights (if Garland is not lighted)
Picks for Decoration
Ribbon
Zip Ties (to secure garland)

Step 1:
Secure the top of the tomato cage with a zip tie to ensure the top is a cone.
Step 2:
Secure garland to bottom ring of the tomato cage.  Start garland at bottom and wrap towards the top securing with zip ties along the way.
Step 3:
Wrap the tree with lights if garland does not include lights.
Step 4:
Make your bow or other tree topper.
Step 5:
Decorate and Enjoy!

What a great idea! I know we have those supplies hanging around the house already. Great tip!
