I hope everyone had a great Valentine's day! Will and I had a nice candlelight dinner. As mentioned earlier I made an attempt on a chocolate cake....well...I am just not much of a baker. Now I love to cook, but baking is a whole other story. I'm pretty sure I let the cakes cool a little long. I made sure the icing was soft enough to put on the cake. Well once I started icing, the cake started crumbling :(. It may not look to good, but it sure was TASTY!
A little St. Valentine decor around the house...

Kissing Balls I made hanging over the kitchen sink.

Holy crap! I'm 40-something years old, and I think you can cook better than I can! Your dinner looks delicious! Don't I WISH I could have gone tiquin w/ you?! Did you get ice the other week? I have 2 friends that work at Walmart corporate, and they got it, but not terribly. Oh, and I LOVE that heart wreath you made. That is AWESOME. Kissing balls are cute too! Sorry for jumping around...sometimes my brain mis-fires! Have a great week!
Gorgeous decorations and your food sounds delicious, especially the prosciutto wrapped asparagus. I'd love the recipe for that.
